Dara is built so your data is owned by you, for your benefit. We minimise data collection, keep data on your device by default, and don't sell or share your health data without your explicit consent. You control what is shared or sold. This policy explains what we do with your data when you use our website and app.

We collect only what's needed to provide the service: account information (if you create an account), health data you choose to log (stored on your device by default), and technical data (e.g. device type) for compatibility. We don't collect sensitive personal data via our marketing site forms beyond what you submit (e.g. waitlist email).
How we use your data
We use your data to provide the service: storing your health data in one place, enabling search and insights on device, and optionally syncing if you opt in. We don't use your health data for advertising or share or sell it to third parties without your explicit consent. You control whether your data is shared or sold.

Where applicable, we process data based on consent, contract performance, or legitimate interests. We document the basis for each processing activity and respect your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection).
