Research & Partners
For partners: Labs, clinics, payers, and public health. Dara Research enables responsible access to health data with clear consent, privacy, and evidence standards.
What Dara enables
Dara can support research and partnership use cases where users explicitly consent to share data. We provide clear documentation on data access models, consent flows, privacy and security, and evidence/data quality standards. We don't sell or share personal health data without explicit consent.
Partner types
Dara Research works with labs, clinics, payers, and public health organisations. Each partner type has specific use cases and data access requirements.
- Labs – Research labs can partner for consented research use cases. Data access is governed by user consent and our data access policies.
- Clinics – Clinics may integrate Dara for patient-reported outcomes or consented data sharing. We work with clinics on a case-by-case basis.
- Payers – Insurers and health plans can explore partnership for consented population health or outcomes research. We don't sell or share data without explicit user consent.
- Public health – Public health organisations can partner for consented research or surveillance use cases. We prioritise privacy and user control in all partnerships.
Data access and consent
Users explicitly consent before any data is shared with research or partner programmes. We use plain-language consent flows and document what data is shared, with whom, and for what purpose. Access to user data is governed by consent and our data access policies—we don't provide bulk or unfettered access; each use case is documented and user consent is required.
Privacy and security (research)
We apply the same privacy principles to research and partner data: data minimisation, user control, transparency. Data shared with partners is limited to what users consent to and is used only for the stated purpose. Data in transit and at rest is protected. For more detail, see our main Security overview.
Evidence and data quality
We document what data we collect, how it is structured, and any limitations. We don't make medical or clinical claims; Dara is not a medical device. Data quality depends on user input and device/integration sources. We document known limitations and provide guidance for researchers and partners on how to interpret and use the data responsibly.
